This is the big one. We're excited to give you a detailed look at what the full Kickstarter campaign for Chrono will look like, including the amazing rewards you’ll get for backing the game. Transparency is key for us, so let's get right into it.

Our mission is to create a game that's affordable to play, keeps the lights on for the game and funds a robust organized play system. For more details on our plans for organized play, check out our previous article.
Kickstarter Reward Tiers
Here’s the exciting part – the rewards for backing our Kickstarter campaign. Each tier offers incredible value and exclusive bonuses:
- $25 Agent: One Power-Precon deck ($20 value), 21 packs ($30 value), and eligibility for all stretch goals.
- $40 Diver: Two Power-Precon decks ($40 value), 42 packs ($60 value), and Closed Beta access and eligibility for all stretch goals.
- $70 Expert: Three Power-Precon decks ($60 value), 84 packs ($120 value), Alpha access and eligibility for all stretch goals.
- $100 Master: All six Power-Precon decks ($120 value), 139 packs ($200 value), first five monthly battle passes ($50 value), five sealed event tickets ($50 value), and eligibility for all stretch goals.
- $250 Syndicate Councilor: Master rewards ($420 value), three codes for 70 Booster Packs each ($300 value), official Chrono CCG Kickstarter Board, and choice of one of six Boof Card Backs.
- $500 Timeless: Syndicate Councilor rewards ($720+ value), official Chrono CCG playmat, permanent early access to Alpha and Early Card Releases, and Exclusive “G.O.A.T” Title, Cardback, Discord Role, and Emote.
- $1,250 Syndicate Leader: Timeless rewards ($720+ value), design your own custom card back, ten codes for 50 booster packs and ten free tournament entries with the custom card back. ($920+Value)
- $2,500 Immortalization: Syndicate Leader rewards ($1640+ value), your likeness in a card’s final game art.
- $5,000 Creator: Syndicate Leader rewards ($1640+ value), work with the design team to create your own card, with all Kickstarter contributors receiving three copies.
Stretch Goals
Our first goal is to make the dream of Chrono a reality. We are also set on giving back to our community. Beyond that we want to demonstrate how committed Chrono will be to the idea of powerful, competitive, and worthwhile organized play. So we’re doing something unprecedented and starting with a potentially huge Kickstarter Exclusive tournament event before we get into our full competitive circuit. We have many stretch goals planned which will unlock as the campaign progresses, the following are a few highlights that we couldn’t wait to share:
- $50,000: Initial funding goal.
- $150,000: Chrono Standalone Alpha Client Launch with an initial 180 card “Chrono Core” set. Kickstarter backer exclusive $15,000 Prize Pool Tournament.
- $175,000: Additional Kickstarter Set “Chrono Unlocked” will be added to the game at 6 Cards, all backers receive three copies of each unlocked card on release.
- $300,000: Beta Client Launch. Kickstarter backer exclusive tournament prize pool will grow to $30,000.
Card Collection Rates
Card Packs:
A Chrono pack contains 13 cards:
- Cards 1-6: Commons
- Card 7: Common (87.5%), Rare (9.38%), Divergent (1.56%), Lost (1.56%)
- Cards 8-10: Rares
- Card 11: Divergent (85.7%), Lost (14.3%)
- Cards 12-13: Any card from the entire set
Wildcard System:
To avoid complete randomness, players will earn wildcards to craft specific cards. Completing introductory quests grants 5 wildcards of each rarity (Common, Rare, Divergent, Lost). Wildcards will continue to be earned as follows:
- Common: 1 in 3 packs
- Rare: 1 in 5 packs
- Divergent: 1 in 30 packs
- Lost: 1 in 30 packs
Our initial Set will contain 180 unique cards.
- 72 Common
- 48 Rare
- 36 Divergent
- 24 Lost
Free to Play
Chrono offers a comprehensive free-to-play experience. New accounts will start with ample resources, allowing players to build competitive decks right from the start. Our design philosophy, "All Cards Deserve Love," ensures that everyone can jump into the Chronoverse and compete. Daily quests and limited events will reward enough in-game currency to sustain active play, providing a balanced environment where skill and strategy shine.
Our limited events will also have the possibility of “going infinite.” Any limited entry will receive the packs inherent in building the deck, and accruing a sufficient number of wins will not only reward additional bonus packs, but also sufficient in-game currency to re-enter these events without additional cost.
